Jsc Associates' Villa Sample House: A Haven of Tranquility and Healing

The uniqueness of the project lies in its use of the most natural elements – "mountain, water, stone, and wood". These elements are transformed into beautiful notes that flow in the space, creating a natural and minimalist poetic space. The designer uses Burlington green marble to explore the artistic superposition of freedom and ethereal. The quiet integration of dark wood, wandering between light and shadow, mixes simplicity and tranquility with fresh nature, giving it a unique style that is intriguing.

Realized using Burlington green marble, embroidered wallpaper, stone, stainless steel, wood, and glass, the project spans an area of 396 square meters. The design team, led by interior designer Sissy and soft decoration designer Cherie, faced the challenge of a short construction period and the need to achieve a natural construction effect. The selection of space materials and the craftsmanship of Burlington green marble became the starting point of space creation.

In the endless tranquility of nature, the design works by unfolding a natural picture scroll from the overlook point of view. The soft and lingering cloud profile, viewed against the backdrop of the twilight morning light, adds warmth to the space. The design encourages a leisurely lifestyle, where one can read a poetry collection on a quiet afternoon or sip a cup of tea, enjoying the joy of life.

Located in ShanWei, China, the project was completed between December 2021 and April 2022. The design reflects the belief that life is a rhythm, with its light and shadow, and bright and dark interests. The place embodies a healing power that endows life, offering a serene retreat for the body and mind.

The Natural Aesthetics project by Jsc Associates was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2023. The award recognizes top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. These designs, admired for their strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcase a remarkable level of excellence and introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
